She had been using scrapbooking for quite a few years now and she guessed it was time to get into the modern century. Well, that’s what her kids were constantly telling her anyway.

But she just didn’t know about all of that. She didn’t even have a cell phone yet and they were of course all the rage now with their ringtones and texting.

When the kids and her husband were gone to dispose of the Christmas tree the next morning Monica took her cup of coffee and went into the family room where they had set the cricut expression 2 5th anniversary edition machine up for her on her worktable. The machine was lightweight only weighing 19.1 pounds had a touch screen and came with four cartridges. Her family had provided her with another pack of cartridges that included everything from holidays to baby shower themes. The machine itself was green and white and fit in with the décor of her family room quite nicely.

Monica went to refill her coffee cup and pulled out the cartridge that was pre filled with certain patterns for the winter holidays. Before long she was totally engrossed in cutting and planning just what she wanted to do with the other cartridges and planning the website for her scrapbooking and crafts she was now eager to build.

The next time she looked up her family was standing in the doorway with their coats on and hers in their hands. She had to laugh when it seemed she had become so engrossed in her new cricut expression 2 5th anniversary edition machine and all of its capabilities that she had forgotten to cook dinner and the family was waiting to take her out to eat, impatiently, but they were smiling.
